If you’re a teacher…
… you might have noticed the Walk is the day before the ACLE conference in Adelaide.
We hope this means more of you will be able to join us! Simply add an extra day and night onto your itinerary :)
Once you’ve registered, you’ll get regular updates on the Walk, and we’ll make sure you’re looked after with transport and a hearty German breakfast to get you ready for the Walk!
If you’d like to find out more details (eg start and end times) to help with making flight and accommodation bookings, simply drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org
Can I organise a walk at my school?
Yes please - that'd be awesome!
We've put together some FREE resources on how to do it - from planning and organisation to sponsorship sheets and permission forms.
You can create a team for your whole school – or make each class a team and see who can raise the most to help refugee kids!
It's easy to create and join a team.
Have one person create a Walk fundraising page. Once you've created it, there's a button to change your Individual page to a Team page.
Then others can create their own fundraising pages (by class or individual) and choose to join your team from their personal fundraising pages. Easy!
(Note that if under 16s wish to create their own individual fundraising page, they'll need to complete a consent form - see here for details).
If organizing your school isn’t your thing, why not set yourself a personal Walking challenge.
Climb a local hill carrying 26kgs, walk around the block 26 times, walk backwards for a whole day – the more crazy, the more others will want to sponsor you to do it!
Create your personal or school team fundraising page here or Register Now for the Adelaide Walk!
